What is Document Legalization?

Hợp pháp hóa giấy tờ (hay hợp pháp hóa lãnh sự) là thủ tục xác nhận chữ ký, con dấu và thẩm quyền của cơ quan đã cấp giấy tờ để giấy tờ đó được công nhận và sử dụng hợp pháp tại một quốc gia khác.

Document legalization (or consular legalization) is the process of certifying the signature, seal, and authority of the issuing organization so that the document can be legally recognized and used in another country.

1. Bằng đại học Việt Nam sử dụng tại Nhật Bản cần được hợp pháp hóa lãnh sự

A university degree issued in Vietnam for use in Japan usually requires consular legalization.

2. Giấy đăng ký kết hôn của nước ngoài sử dụng tại Việt Nam thường cần được hợp pháp hóa lãnh sự.

A foreign marriage certificate intended for use in Vietnam generally requires consular legalization.

1. Bằng cấp, chứng chỉ - Diplomas and certificates

III- Quy trình cơ bản | Basic Procedure

1. Công chứng hoặc chứng thực giấy tờ (nếu cần)- Notarize or certify the document (if required).

2. Xin chứng nhận từ cơ quan có thẩm quyền - Obtain authentication from the competent authority.

3. Thực hiện hợp pháp hóa lãnh sự - Complete the consular legalization process.

4. Dịch thuật và công chứng bản dịch (nếu được yêu cầu)- Translate and notarize the translation (if required).
